5. Acceptance of these Terms
By using AdLaunch, you confirm that:
- you have read and understood these Terms;
- you agree to be bound by these Terms;
- you are at least 18 years old or have the consent and assistance of a parent or legal guardian;
- the information you provide is accurate and complete;
- you will use the website only for lawful purposes;
- you will not misuse the website or interfere with its operation.
If you use AdLaunch on behalf of a business, organisation, employer, or other person, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
6. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will apply from the date shown at the top of the page. If we make important changes, we may notify users by website notice, email, account notification, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of AdLaunch after the Terms are updated means that you accept the updated Terms.
7. Account registration
Some features require an account.
When registering, you must provide accurate and current information. You may be required to provide your name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, business details, password, and other relevant information.
You are responsible for:
- keeping your login details secure;
- using a strong password;
- not sharing your account with unauthorised persons;
- all activity that occurs under your account;
- updating your account information when it changes.
We may require email confirmation before your account is fully activated.
We may refuse registration, suspend accounts, or close accounts where we reasonably believe that the account is fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, misleading, duplicated, automated, or in breach of these Terms.
8. Account security
You must notify us immediately if you suspect that your account has been accessed without permission.
AdLaunch is not responsible for losses caused by your failure to protect your login details, unless the loss was caused by our own unlawful conduct or gross negligence.
We may take security steps such as password resets, email verification, account suspension, login monitoring, or other measures to protect accounts and the platform.
9. User roles and admin access
AdLaunch may have different user roles, including ordinary users, advertisers, administrators, moderators, or support users.
Administrators may have access to tools used to review ads, approve ads, reject ads, manage users, manage email templates, review statistics, update settings, and perform platform administration.
Admin access must be used responsibly and only for legitimate AdLaunch purposes.
10. Creating and submitting ads
When you create or submit an ad, you are responsible for making sure that:
- all information is accurate, honest, and not misleading;
- you have the right to advertise the product, service, or business;
- prices, descriptions, images, and contact details are correct;
- the ad complies with all applicable laws;
- the ad does not infringe another person's rights;
- the ad does not contain illegal, harmful, offensive, or prohibited content;
- you have permission to use any uploaded images, logos, text, trademarks, or other material;
- you have permission to publish any personal information included in the ad.
AdLaunch may require certain fields, such as title, short description, description, category, location, contact information, and images, depending on the ad type.
You may be required to preview and confirm your ad before submitting it for review.
11. Ad review, approval, and rejection
Ads may require admin approval before they are published.
Submitting an ad does not guarantee approval or publication.
We may approve, reject, edit, pause, unpublish, expire, suspend, or remove an ad if we believe that it:
- breaches these Terms;
- is unlawful or potentially unlawful;
- is false, misleading, or deceptive;
- contains prohibited content;
- infringes intellectual property rights;
- contains inappropriate images or text;
- creates a security, privacy, reputational, or legal risk;
- is spam, duplicated, or low quality;
- is reported by users;
- may harm AdLaunch, users, advertisers, or the public.
Where practical, we may provide a reason for rejection or removal. We are not required to approve any ad.
Approval of an ad does not mean that AdLaunch verifies, endorses, guarantees, recommends, or accepts responsibility for the advertised product, service, business, or advertiser.
11.1 Terms enforcement, strikes, posting bans, and repeated non-compliance
Where an advertisement is rejected because an administrator considers it to be outside these Terms and Conditions, the administrator may choose to add one or more strikes to the advertiser's account. A strike is never added automatically merely because an ad is rejected. The administrator must deliberately select the number of strikes and provide a reason.
The standard enforcement stages are:
- first total strike: a 24-hour ban on submitting new or revised ads for approval;
- second total strike: a 48-hour ban on submitting new or revised ads for approval;
- third total strike: a 7-day ban on submitting new or revised ads for approval;
- fourth or any later total strike: permanent deletion of the user account for repeated non-compliance.
An administrator may add more than one strike in a single moderation action where the seriousness, repetition, or number of violations reasonably justifies it. The resulting restriction is determined by the user's new total strike count.
During a posting ban, a user may continue to sign in and work on draft content, but may not submit a new ad, a rejected ad, or changes to an approved ad for approval until the restriction expires.
When a strike is added as part of rejecting an ad, the rejection email will state the rejection reason, number of strikes added, total strike count, applicable ban, expiry date, and possible next consequence.
If an account reaches four or more strikes, AdLaunch may permanently delete the account and remove its ads and account data. All remaining credits on an account deleted for repeated non-compliance, including purchased, promotional, bonus, referral, and free credits, will be forfeited and will not be refunded, except to the extent that a refund is required by a non-excludable provision of applicable law.
Users are responsible for reviewing these Terms before submitting or resubmitting an ad.
12. Public display of ads
Once approved, an ad may be displayed publicly on AdLaunch.
Public ad content may be visible to:
- website visitors;
- registered users;
- search engines;
- social media users if shared;
- people who receive links or QR codes;
- potential customers or clients.
You understand that information included in a public ad may be copied, indexed, shared, saved, screenshotted, or viewed by other people.
You should not publish private, confidential, or unnecessary personal information in an ad.
13. Ad expiry, renewal, and removal
Ads may run for a selected period, default period, package period, or credit-based period.
An ad may expire automatically when:
- the selected display period ends;
- the user runs out of required credits;
- a package expires;
- the advertiser pauses or removes the ad;
- AdLaunch removes the ad for breach of these Terms;
- the account is suspended or deleted.
Expired ads may no longer be publicly visible, but certain records may be retained for legal, billing, moderation, audit, or security purposes.
You may be able to renew, extend, boost, pause, edit, or resubmit ads depending on the features available at the time.
14. Credits and packages
AdLaunch may use a credit system.
Credits may be used for actions such as:
- creating ads;
- publishing approved ads;
- displaying ads for a selected number of days;
- renewing ads;
- boosting ads;
- promoting ads;
- accessing additional features.
The number of credits required for each action will be displayed on the website or in your account area.
Unless otherwise stated, credits have no cash value outside AdLaunch. Credits cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, resold, or used outside the platform.
AdLaunch may provide free starting credits, promotional credits, bonus credits, or paid credits. Promotional or free credits may have different rules, limits, or expiry conditions.
Credit pricing, package pricing, credit usage rules, free credit allocations, daily ad display costs, and package benefits may change from time to time. Changes will not remove credits already purchased from your account unless required by law, system correction, fraud prevention, refund processing, or breach of these Terms.
15. Credit deduction
Credits may be deducted when you use paid features.
For ads that require approval, AdLaunch may only deduct publishing or display credits once the ad is approved and published, unless the website clearly states otherwise before you submit or pay.
If an ad is rejected before publication, credits intended for publication or display should not be deducted, or should be returned, unless the website clearly states that a non-refundable review, setup, design, or administration fee applies.
If an ad is removed because you breached these Terms, you may lose the credits used for that ad.
16. Payments
AdLaunch may allow users to buy credits, packages, subscriptions, boosts, or other services online.
Before completing a payment, you should be given an opportunity to review the relevant order, price, package, quantity, and other important details.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. AdLaunch does not intend to store full card numbers, CVV numbers, or full payment-card details on its own servers.
You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.
Prices may be shown in South African Rand unless stated otherwise.
If VAT becomes applicable, or if AdLaunch registers for VAT in future, pricing and invoices may be updated accordingly.
17. Payment security
AdLaunch will take reasonable steps to use secure payment processes and reputable payment providers.
However, payment providers may have their own terms, privacy policies, security processes, and dispute rules.
You must not attempt to bypass payment systems, use stolen payment information, reverse payments fraudulently, abuse chargebacks, or interfere with any payment process.
18. Refunds and cooling-off rights
Refunds will be handled according to this section, applicable law, and any Refund Policy displayed on the website.
Because AdLaunch provides digital advertising services and online credits, different refund rules may apply depending on whether credits or services have been used.
Subject to applicable South African law:
- if you buy credits or services online and they have not yet been used, you may have a statutory cooling-off right for certain electronic transactions;
- if you request or agree that services begin immediately before the end of the cooling-off period, your right to cancel may be limited once the service has started or been provided;
- if credits have already been used to publish, display, boost, renew, or promote an ad, those used credits are generally not refundable unless required by law or unless AdLaunch made a material error;
- if an ad is rejected before publication, unused publication or display credits should remain available in your account or be returned to your credit balance;
- if a payment was made by mistake, duplicated, or incorrectly processed, we will investigate and correct it where appropriate;
- if an account is suspended or terminated because of fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, or breach of these Terms, AdLaunch may refuse a refund to the extent allowed by law.
Refund requests must be sent to info@adlaunch.co.za and must include your name, account email, payment reference, date of purchase, amount paid, and reason for the request.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any non-excludable consumer rights that apply under South African law.
19. Invoices, receipts, and records
AdLaunch may issue invoices, receipts, or purchase confirmations electronically.
You agree to receive invoices, receipts, confirmations, notices, and other transaction records by email or through your account dashboard.
AdLaunch may keep transaction records for legal, accounting, tax, audit, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution purposes.
20. Advertiser responsibilities
Advertisers are fully responsible for their own ads, businesses, products, services, prices, offers, promises, availability, warranties, delivery, customer service, after-sales support, and legal compliance.
Advertisers must not:
- advertise goods or services they are not allowed to sell;
- misrepresent a product, service, price, discount, business, qualification, licence, location, or availability;
- use fake reviews, fake images, fake locations, or false claims;
- collect user information unlawfully;
- send spam or unlawful direct marketing;
- discriminate unlawfully;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- use AdLaunch to defraud or mislead visitors;
- direct users to unsafe, malicious, or unlawful websites.
If a visitor contacts an advertiser through AdLaunch, the advertiser is responsible for responding lawfully and professionally.
21. Visitor and buyer responsibilities
Visitors and potential buyers must use their own judgment before dealing with an advertiser.
AdLaunch does not guarantee that:
- an advertiser is trustworthy;
- a product or service is suitable;
- a price is fair;
- a business is registered or licensed;
- an offer is still available;
- an ad is error-free;
- goods will be delivered;
- services will be performed;
- a transaction between users will be successful.
You should verify important information before making payment to any advertiser.
Unless AdLaunch expressly provides a payment or escrow service for a specific transaction, payments between visitors and advertisers happen outside AdLaunch and at the parties' own risk.
22. Prohibited ads and content
You may not submit, publish, upload, link to, or promote content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, or inappropriate.
Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:
- illegal goods or services;
- stolen goods;
- counterfeit goods;
- scams, pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or fraudulent offers;
- misleading investment or financial promises;
- unlicensed financial, insurance, medical, legal, or regulated services;
- weapons, explosives, or dangerous items where prohibited or restricted by law;
- illegal drugs or controlled substances;
- prescription medication sold unlawfully;
- adult sexual services or exploitative adult content;
- human trafficking, exploitation, or illegal labour;
- hate speech, harassment, threats, or incitement to violence;
- discriminatory content;
- defamatory content;
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks, designs, patents, or other rights;
- personal information published without permission;
- malware, phishing, harmful links, or technical abuse;
- spam, mass posting, duplicate posting, or automated scraping;
- content that damages the reputation, security, or operation of AdLaunch.
AdLaunch may update the prohibited content list from time to time.
23. User-generated content licence
You keep ownership of the content you submit, subject to any rights owned by others.
By uploading or submitting content to AdLaunch, you give AdLaunch a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, host, store, copy, display, publish, resize, crop, format, distribute, promote, and make the content available for the purpose of operating, displaying, marketing, sharing, moderating, and improving the AdLaunch platform.
This licence allows AdLaunch to display your approved ads publicly, create previews, show images, generate sharing links, create QR-code-related promotional material, include ads in search or category pages, and promote ads through platform features.
You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed to grant this licence.
When you delete content or close your account, AdLaunch will remove public access to the relevant content where reasonably practical, subject to backups, records, legal obligations, dispute records, and technical limitations.
24. Intellectual property of AdLaunch
All rights in the AdLaunch name, logo, platform design, website layout, software, source code, database structure, icons, graphics, text, branding, features, and original content belong to AdLaunch or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, duplicate, frame, or exploit any part of AdLaunch without written permission.
You may share public ad links using the built-in sharing tools, provided that you do so lawfully and without misleading others.
25. Copyright and rights complaints
If you believe that an ad or user content infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights, you may contact us at [info@adlaunch.co.za](mailto:info@adlaunch.co.za).
Your complaint should include:
- your name and contact details;
- details of the content complained about;
- the ad link or identifying information;
- the right you believe has been infringed;
- proof or explanation of your rights;
- a statement that the complaint is made in good faith.
We may remove or restrict content while investigating a complaint.
False or abusive complaints may result in account restrictions or legal action.
26. Leads, enquiries, and messages
AdLaunch may allow visitors to contact advertisers through contact forms, email links, WhatsApp links, phone links, or other enquiry tools.
If you submit an enquiry, your details and message may be sent to the relevant advertiser.
AdLaunch is not responsible for how an advertiser responds, whether they respond, or whether a transaction takes place.
Advertisers must handle enquiries and personal information lawfully and in accordance with POPIA and other applicable laws.
27. Email, WhatsApp, and notifications
AdLaunch may send account-related, ad-related, payment-related, security, and operational communications.
These may include:
- account registration confirmation;
- email verification links;
- password reset links;
- ad submitted notifications;
- ad approved notifications;
- ad rejected notifications;
- ad expiry notices;
- credit purchase confirmations;
- low-credit alerts;
- payment notices;
- support messages;
- important policy updates.
AdLaunch may also send newsletters, promotions, weekly ad view statistics, advertising tips, and marketing messages where allowed by law and in line with your preferences.
The following email addresses may be used:
- info@adlaunch.co.za for newsletters, promotions, weekly ad view statistics, user messages, and general communication;
- noreply@adlaunch.co.za for account registration confirmations, purchase notifications, password resets, and other automated account-related information;
- privacy@adlaunch.co.za for privacy-related requests and POPIA matters.
You can opt out of marketing communications. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary account, transaction, legal, payment, security, or ad-status communications.
28. Email templates
AdLaunch may use email templates for different types of communication, including registration confirmation, password reset, ad submission, approval, rejection, purchase confirmation, expiry reminders, newsletters, promotions, and system notices.
Administrators may create, edit, delete, and assign email templates for different communication purposes.
Email templates must not be used to send spam, misleading messages, unlawful direct marketing, or messages that breach privacy laws.
29. Newsletter and direct marketing
If you subscribe to newsletters or promotional communications, AdLaunch may send you marketing content.
Marketing may include:
- advertising tips;
- promotional credit offers;
- featured ad opportunities;
- platform updates;
- special offers;
- business-related content;
- weekly ad statistics or engagement summaries.
You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe option, changing your account preferences, or contacting us.
We will not intentionally send unlawful unsolicited electronic marketing.
30. Privacy and personal information
Your personal information will be handled according to the AdLaunch Privacy Policy.
By using AdLaunch, you agree that we may collect and use personal information as described in the Privacy Policy, including information needed to create accounts, publish ads, process payments, send notifications, provide support, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
You must not submit another person's personal information without a lawful reason or their permission.
31. Cookies and analytics
AdLaunch may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, keep users logged in, remember preferences, analyse traffic, improve features, detect abuse, and support security.
Some cookies may be necessary for the website to work. Other cookies may be used for analytics or marketing, depending on the settings and consent options available.
32. Account deletion
Users may request deletion of their account through the available account settings or by contacting AdLaunch.
For security, AdLaunch may require confirmation before deleting an account. This may include sending a confirmation email with a link to the registered email address.
Once the user confirms deletion, AdLaunch will take reasonable steps to delete, deactivate, anonymise, or remove the user's account information and public content, subject to legal, accounting, tax, security, fraud-prevention, backup, dispute-resolution, and technical requirements.
Account deletion may result in:
- loss of access to the account;
- removal of public ads;
- loss of unused promotional or free credits;
- loss of saved ads, favourites, settings, and statistics;
- cancellation or removal of active ads;
- inability to recover the account later.
Deletion is intended to be final once confirmed.
AdLaunch may retain limited records where required or allowed by law, including transaction records, invoices, moderation records, fraud-prevention records, security logs, support records, and legal dispute records.
33. Administrator account removal
Administrators may suspend, restrict, or remove user accounts where necessary for platform management, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or breach of these Terms.
Where reasonable, AdLaunch may notify the user of the reason for suspension or removal.
AdLaunch may immediately remove or restrict an account without prior notice where there is suspected fraud, unlawful activity, security risk, repeated breach, abuse, spam, or harm to users or the platform. The strike and posting-ban process in section 11.1 may be used for ad-related Terms violations. An account that reaches four or more strikes may be permanently deleted, and all remaining credits will be forfeited without refund except where required by non-excludable law.
34. Platform availability
We aim to keep AdLaunch available and working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service.
AdLaunch may be unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- updates;
- hosting issues;
- internet failures;
- cyberattacks;
- power failures;
- payment provider problems;
- third-party service interruptions;
- bugs or technical faults;
- events beyond our reasonable control.
We may change, suspend, improve, remove, or replace features from time to time.
35. No guarantee of results
AdLaunch does not guarantee that an ad will receive views, enquiries, sales, leads, clicks, calls, messages, rankings, revenue, or business success.
Statistics such as views, clicks, enquiries, or engagement are provided for information and may not always be completely accurate due to bots, caching, filtering, technical issues, tracking limitations, or system updates.
Own views, admin views, bot traffic, or repeated views may be excluded or filtered where possible.
36. Third-party links and services
AdLaunch may contain links to third-party websites, social media pages, payment providers, WhatsApp, maps, analytics tools, advertiser websites, or other external services.
AdLaunch is not responsible for third-party websites, services, terms, privacy policies, security, content, products, or actions.
You use third-party services at your own risk.
37. Prohibited technical conduct
You must not:
- hack, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of AdLaunch without permission;

- impersonate another person or business;
- create fake accounts;
- overload the website;
- manipulate views, statistics, rankings, ads, enquiries, or credits.
We may block, suspend, delete, report, or take legal action against users who engage in prohibited technical conduct.
38. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to AdLaunch if:
- you breach these Terms;
- you submit prohibited content;
- you provide false information;
- you misuse the platform;
- you fail to pay amounts due;
- your payment is reversed or disputed fraudulently;
- you infringe another person's rights;
- you harass, threaten, or abuse users or staff;
- your account creates legal, security, reputational, or technical risk;
- we are required to do so by law.
Termination may result in loss of access, removal of ads, cancellation of active services, and loss of credits, subject to applicable law. Where termination occurs after four or more Terms-enforcement strikes, all remaining purchased, promotional, bonus, referral, or free credits are forfeited and are not refundable except where required by non-excludable law.
39. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, AdLaunch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from dealings between users and advertisers.
AdLaunch is not responsible for:
- false or misleading ads submitted by users;
- goods or services supplied by advertisers;
- disputes between users;
- payments made directly to advertisers;
- losses caused by third-party websites or services;
- user error;
- unauthorised access caused by your failure to protect your login details;
- downtime or technical interruptions beyond our reasonable control;
- search engine indexing or sharing of public ad information.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct or any non-excludable consumer rights under South African law.
40. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold AdLaunch harmless against claims, losses, damages, penalties, costs, and expenses arising from:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your unlawful conduct;
- your ads or content;
- your misuse of the platform;
- your infringement of intellectual property rights;

- your dealings with other users;
- your products, services, promises, warranties, or business activities;
- your failure to comply with applicable laws.
This indemnity applies to the extent allowed by law.
41. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or reduce any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you are a consumer under South African law, you may have rights relating to fair dealing, proper disclosure, plain language, safe and good-quality goods or services, cooling-off rights, and other protections.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a non-excludable law, the law will apply.
42. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it.
Complaints can be sent to:

43. POPIA and Information Regulator complaints
Privacy-related complaints should first be sent to privacy@adlaunch.co.za.
You may also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe your personal information has been processed unlawfully.
44. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
You agree that South African law applies to your use of AdLaunch and to any dispute arising from these Terms, unless a mandatory law provides otherwise.
45. Jurisdiction
Subject to applicable consumer law and any mandatory legal rights, disputes may be dealt with by a court or tribunal with jurisdiction in South Africa.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking urgent relief from a competent court.
46. Force majeure
AdLaunch will not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including power failures, internet outages, hosting failures, cyberattacks, strikes, natural disasters, government action, civil unrest, war, pandemics, payment provider failures, or other events outside our control.
47. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.
The invalid part will be treated as removed or changed only to the extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable.
48. No waiver
If AdLaunch does not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean we waive or give up that right.
49. Assignment
You may not transfer your account, credits, rights, or obligations under these Terms to another person without our written permission.
AdLaunch may transfer its rights and obligations to another operator, owner, company, or service provider if the platform is sold, restructured, registered as a company, merged, or transferred, provided that this is done lawfully.
